Larry and Mait are in Annapolis celebrating the fourth with friends we met in the Caribbean. I am celebrating with my sister, nephew and niece.

Monday July 10, 2006
Larry came to Chicago to get me and the girls. He stayed a week and we spent 3 days in downtown Chicago enjoying the city and each other. We had a great visit in Chicago. Got to see the real Amanda Jayne, my other neice, Heather and her husband Jason and my nephew, Adam. My sister and I caught up on a year's absence and did all the girl stuff we could do in 6 weeks.

Saturday July 15, 2006
We all drove back from Chicago in one day. Since it is only 700 miles, it takes about 12 hours. Not too bad. We are used to long days on the boat... but we only went about 70 miles or so. And not as many rest stops in the ocean. But we made it back to Baltimore safe and sound.

It is really hot here in Baltimore but glad to be back in the states... together... and back in a groove. Joined a gym, working out every day and enjoying our summer. All of us are on a diet (except Frankie).
